The Beginning - 2018

Started in a cramped office above a coffee shop on Queen Street. Three lawyers, two laptops that kept overheating, and one shared belief - businesses deserved better legal representation. We took on our first client, a tech startup that'd been burned by their previous firm. Spent more time explaining things in plain English than billing hours. That client's still with us today.

Growing Pains - 2019

Handled our first major M&A deal. Won't lie, there were some late nights fueled by way too much coffee and takeout. But we closed it successfully, and word started spreading. Moved to a proper office space, brought on two more associates who shared our "no BS" philosophy. Started getting calls from companies who were tired of the old-school legal approach.

Expansion Phase - 2021

Added data privacy and IP protection to our services. The tech sector was exploding, and companies needed lawyers who actually understood their challenges. We'd already been working with innovators and disruptors, so it felt natural. Hired specialists who could translate complex regulations into actionable strategies without the typical legal mumbo-jumbo.

Building Trust - 2023

Moved to our current location at Yonge Street. By this point, we'd helped over 200 businesses navigate everything from compliance headaches to major acquisitions.
